Driver's License
Yes. To obtain a first-time Learner’s Permit or a full Driver’s License, you are required to be physically present on the island. You must attend appointments for the written test and the driving (road) test with the Licensing Authority. No written test is required once you already have a driver’s license from another country.
Yes, renewal applications can be processed from outside the Federation without the need for travel. We facilitate the submission of the required notarized documents, payment, and secure return of the new license card via courier.

Yes, if the lost/stolen license has expired, you will be required to follow the full renewal process in addition to submitting the required documentation for a lost card (including the police report).
